Choosing a Bulb Wattage
This HID kit is available in both 35 watt & 55 watt configurations. The 35w version is the default, standard set up, and the 55 watt configuration is approximately 40% brighter. The 55w system ballasts are approximately 1 cm longer than the 35w ballasts. Choose the 35w configuration if you want the typical stock HID light output you would get on a car straight from the factory. Choose the 55w configuration if you want a stronger, more powerful output from your HID headlights.
NOTE: The 55w kit is not recommended for smaller fog light housings because they tend to heat up more so than the 35w kits.
Choosing Your Bulb Color
The bulbs available for this kit range from 3000K to 12000K. 3000K has a yellow/gold tint, and 12000K has a bluish tint. The most popular color is 6000K because it provides maximum visible light. That color would be described as white with a hint of blue. For optimal visibility we recommend staying in the 4500K-6000K range. The closer the color is to natural light, the better visibility it will provide. It is only recommended to go outside of this range if you are going for a specific look.

NOTE: Due to the power of the 55w ballast, the output is slightly washed out. For example; a 55w 8000K will look similar to 6000K on the color chart above.

A: Yes, we strictly sell high quality HID kits that are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Check the paperwork that arrives with your HID kit for information on the manufacturer's warranty.
